{"id":127,"date":"2011-02-09T07:29:45","date_gmt":"2011-02-09T13:29:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/?p=127"},"modified":"2011-02-10T01:54:56","modified_gmt":"2011-02-10T07:54:56","slug":"my-professional-achievement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/2011\/02\/09\/my-professional-achievement\/","title":{"rendered":"My Professional Achievement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been teaching English at Berlitz for five and a half years.\u00a0 I  was told a year or so ago that I could  qualify to become a mentor if I  so desired.\u00a0 This wouldn&#8217;t mean a  promotion, but rather increased  responsibility to mentor new teachers  and support the staff in more  ways than I am now.\u00a0 I went to training classes, and received training  from my instructional  supervisor.\u00a0 I also had to have a certain &#8220;score&#8221;  in my yearly  performance evaluation, and pass some tests.<\/p>\n<p>I  started mentorly duties about half a year ago, but only support.\u00a0 I   started in earnest this month with the arrival of a new teacher.
