But they&#8217;re still useless during the day and still using SOME electricity.  Turn them off. Also, heated toilet seats? Come on.  Useless. Especially in the summer?<\/p>\n<p>So here are two examples.  Fridges in grocery\/convenience stores.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/curtains-on-fridge.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/curtains-on-fridge.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"curtains on fridge\" width=\"391\" height=\"565\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2383\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are plastic curtains helping keep in the coolness.  I approve.  <a href=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/like.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/like.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"like\" width=\"93\" height=\"86\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are no curtains or doors on the fridges or freezers.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/no-curtains-on-freezer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/no-curtains-on-freezer.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"no curtains on freezer\" width=\"334\" height=\"531\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2386\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unlike. <a href=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dislike.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/roxannemodafferi.net\/RBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dislike.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"dislike\" width=\"94\" height=\"86\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2385\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I FINALLY talked to the girls at the &#8220;Information Booth&#8221; about who owned the building that BLASTED air conditioning out the door in the Yokohama Station building.  I said, &#8220;I&#8217;d like to know who owns the building, so if I have a complaint, I know who to make it to.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(because I know she has no power to do anything, so I might as well not even talk to her)  She replied that it was the Sotetsu Company&#8217;s building. I said okay and was about to leave, but she said, &#8220;Oh, please tell me the complaint.&#8221;  I told her about the strong air conditioning and how it was such a waste and bothered me.  She said, &#8220;Oh, that&#8217;s the &#8216;air curtain&#8217; and the current flow keeps the cold air from going outside.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sure it does.  Expressed doubt.
