Roxanne Modafferi is a mixed martial artist. She was born in Delaware, grew up in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, lived in Japan for eight years, and now resides in Las Vegas to train and fight full-time. She has a Bachelors degree in Japanese Language and Literature, loves Japanese animation, Mexican food, and socks.
She’s the author of two books, “Memoirs of a Happy Warrior” and “How To Be Positive: Mental Training by the Happy Warrior,” both available on this website. She is the head coach for the kids jiu-jitsu class, ages five to seven at her home gym, Syndicate MMA. Roxanne has been on The Ultimate Fighter Seasons 18 and 26, and is now proudly signed to the UFC.
