Christmas vacation on the east coast!

I had a really super duper vacation. It really felt like vacation! For the first time in years, I didn’t feel the itch to get to a gym and train while I was in Boston or NY. I wouldn’t have minded, though. I had JUST fought so I didn’t mind just relaxing, spending time with my parents, and eating whatever. I did miss my Aunt’s Italian cooking, though!!

It was FREEZING so I didn’t even want to take walks around the block like I usually do. I did squats, lunges, and push ups in my room, though.

I especially enjoyed chatting with my dad this visit. He gave me lots of financial advice and taught me how to sell the stocks he bought for me a decade ago. He is vast ocean of knowledge and I’m fortunate to be he daughter, for many different reasons. 😀
My UMass friend Q-chan came over on Christmas eve and we hung out and played board games!

Survive, my game, and Qwirkle, one she brought! omg I love that game!

It was so good to see you again! <3 In the afternoon on Christmas, I took my rental car and drove to upstate NY, where I visited with my mom. It was FREAKING FREEZING. Her apartment's heater was....ok let me put it this way. My dad's heater:
My Mom’s heater:

I was wearing layers of shirts and socks and my hat in the place. :/ I shoveled for the first time in like 15 years! Well, technically the first time was to dig my car out in Boston, and then in front of my grandfather’s old house.

I enjoyed going shopping for random things with Mom, and walking around an aquarium! We saw seahorses swimming around actively. I’ve never seen that before. Usually they’re just hanging out on sea plants, but these guys were super active.

We also played a board game called Survive that we always played when I was a kid!

We went out for dinner with my aunt and uncles, and it was really nice. <3 Then Mom and I went out for lunch with one of my uncles the next day. The following day I few back home. It felt like a long vacation! Now I'm back to teaching and training. My new training schedule is....I'm trying to tweak it still so I'm not satisfied with my routine yet. Still trying to figure out a balance. Thanks to my blog sponsor www.myconsumerit.com
