I must really become a ninja
It’s the age of the MMA super athlete.
It used to be that someone good at jiu-jitsu, or a powerful striker could win fights. Now, it’s different. It has changed. A ‘fighter’ needs to have superior cardio, physical strength, power, AND skill. Must. The bar has been raised.
Some people may try and argue with me, but I don’t think I’m a powerful “athlete.” I mean, I’ve been playing sports since I was a little kid – soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, etc. But I’m not buff, and I was pretty average.
It was comforting for me to hear someone I respected say, “Oh I’m not a powerful striker either, so I have to be tricky to win my fights.”
I like that. I always tried to defy my weaknesses and work at them and work at them until they go away. But I don’t think I’ll ever be as physically strong as certain people.
People have said, “Oh, it’s so easy to take something (i.e. doping) if you cycle right.” :/ I want muscles. But I refuse to dope. So you know what I gotta do, right?
BECOME A NINJA. XD I AM studying under the man who invented “The Ninja Choke,” Katsumura-san.
However this body of mine… *sigh* sometimes I wonder if it’ll ever get better.
My 30th birthday is coming up in September. I’m going to party so hard. If I have to be 30, I’m gonna make it huge. And by party, I mean friends, presents, food and ice cream and cake. Like, I MADE IT TO THIRTY and I’m NOT using a cane yet!!! I’m already thinking about A) how many parties B) How much ice cream and cake I can possibly eat 3) if I should take a day off from work to recover. lol…
