My trip to Las Vegas!

I’m back from my trip to Las Vegas!

It was the first time for me, and everything wowed me- the crowds, the buildings, the shapes and themes of the casinos, the types of food, the advertisements for prostitutes and sex shows…. soooo many sex shows ads. ;_; Sooo many pics of topless women. I can’t take it anymore. LOL People dressed up like stuff, hanging out on the side of the road. Man, they had Spartains, Hello Kitty, Transformers..my friend Tony got arrested by some sexy cops because he’s a baaaad boy. lol j/k



After the week went on, it got to be too much for me, and I just wanted to go home. ;_; Vegas sucked the money right out of my pockets! I wasn’t even buying stuff. I gambled only a bit (and lost) only like 70 bucks, but just taking a taxi somewhere was like BAM 20 bucks, BAM, another 20. Food was so expensive, and hard to eat healthily and cheaply. Seriously, there is NO place to get an adequate amount of vegetables when you eat out. I ate at Subway literally once a day. So it was fun, but only if you have money to spend.

I was getting up at like 3 AM every morning because of jetlag. Sometimes I used the exercise room downstairs! I lifted weights sometimes. My first night, my teammate Steve and I were SO jetlagged, so we met up and walked around the strip at like 4 AM. lol

Saw some mermaids on Treasure Island. It was all good.

It was really hard for me to coordinate with people to do what I wanted to do, when I could only use my phone’s wifi inside my hotel room. If I was going to be late or wanted to change plans, I had to try and find a Starbucks or McDonald’s on the Strip to leech off their wifi. ;_; Seriously, what did we used to do without cell phones? I wanted to meet up with a few people, and I didn’t get the chance! ;_; My friend Tony from California made the trip to hang out and I got to hang out with him, so that was cool.

Amanda Lucas kindly invited me to her gym! When I was finally able to make time to go, I found that SHE wasn’t going to be there. I wanted to train with HER. ;_; I hope next time!? Steve, Tony and I decided to go to Xtreme Couture on Friday, and that was cool!



I took the kickboxing and grappling class, and learned a sweet new head-arm choke by Eric. Thanks, everyone at Xtreme Couture! (vid)

I got to meet and hang out with a lot of other female fighters. It was great to see my old friend Tara LaRosa again. 😀 This pic is on my second night in Vegas, we all hung out together.

And I hit it off with Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras. Lol I love that fighting nickname.
Sarah, her sister and I went to Circus Circus and rode this carousel, and the horses were SO small, you can barely see them! It being a kid’s ride and all. haha





Let’s go to DISNEYLAND….oh wait, it’s the Excalibur castle. 😀 Which was still freaking awesome. We had dinner at “Dicks Last Resort” which was ug, quite the experience. I would have liked it better if I could HEAR what people were saying. It was so loud. The waiters’ jobs were to be mean to us. 🙁 I didn’t really lile the restaurant itself, but I enjoyed being with my friends, and the pulled chicky sammich was the best thing I’ve ever tasted ever. XD lol I wanted a water, so usually I would say, “Could I have a water, please?” but I had a feeling he wouldn’t give it to me, so maybe I should have said, “hey gimmie a water?” but maybe that wasn’t mean enough either, so I asked Tony to ask for a water for me. LOL haha

saw a trapeze show in Circus Circus! I won a Crayon Cat in a Carnival game, haha.



and played miniature golf in a Kiss Themed place! 😀

Btw that snowglobe almost didn’t make it past airport security because I had to carry it in my carry-on and the lady was like “Sorry no liquids.” I hadn’t thought to get a plastic bag for it! She let me go. Thank youuuu. 😀

I ate a ton because I wasn’t eating vegetables and didn’t feel full. ~_~; Luckily I only gained one pound, because I was walking so much and managed to get an hour in of training here and there. I’m excited to get back to work and training. Thank you to a few people who helped sponsor me for this trip. Every little bit helps! 😀
